I emailed our Record label to gain permission for the use of their song as my group agreed that a big label such as this needs to be notified about the use of their songs. We also thought it would be prudent that it would be a good opportunity to gain contact with the company incase we wanted any feedback on our video in the future. We stated why we would want to use the track as it is important that the company knows why we are interested in using it. We need to ask for permission so that all legal actions which are necessary have been completed.
